uhm sorry to disapoint you but its not about my mother^^, at least is was not intended to be, but any interpretation is fine with me.I mean that's the whole thing about art anyway, isn't it? different people connect different memories, aspects etc. with different colors or images..
Well what I intended, which as I said does not mean there is no other interpretation, was a letting go picture. I was deeply in love with her but she fell in love with someone else before I had the chance to tell her, they seemed so happy that I didn't want to ruin it by telling her my true feelings, I realized I had to let go of her and I tried to put this into the picture a bit. Also yopu might want to check out the song" Golden Brown" by the stranglers
